I shot the gorgeous Alba Galocha for the beauty cover of YoDona wearing a vintage Ralph Lauren robe that Juanjo Oliva bought at a flea market. She really doesn’t need anything else to look amazing – #shewokeuplikethis.

I shot the amazing Jena Goldsack at UNO Models for the cover of the September 2015 issue of Vanidad wearing pieces from Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Gucci, Chanel and Miu Miu. Styled by Paloma González Durántez and hair and makeup by Joel Bittencourt (Ana Prado). Initially inspired by Andy Warhol‘s “Everything is more glamorous when you do it in bed, anyway”, I shot the gorgeous Charlotte Coquelin at UNO Models peeling potatoes in bed in my home studio in Madrid. Styled by Miguel de Gil, hair and makeup by Elisa Mañas and creative direction by Luciana Mazza and Chalo Bonifacino.

BECCA HORN x LOVELY SS15.

I had been looking forward to shooting a fashion story in which I’d be able to include part of my personal work. So when we got the opportunity to shoot for Lovely, we booked a weekend at the Atlantis Bahia Real in Fuerteventura and flew out there with Becca. Basically, we spent a couple of days there laughing, drinking champagne for breakfast, freezing at 6am in the middle of the desert, getting sunburnt at 12pm in the middle of the desert and basically just having an amazing time creating.

I had been asking myself how spending more time with the model –and thus developing a closer relationship- would impact the imagery (Venetia Scott mentions this several times during her interview on ShowStudio that I strongly recommend). And I guess I now know the answer.
